Protein-bound fatty acids in mammalian hair fibres
    Peet, Daniel J. ( 1994)
The presence of bound fatty acids in mammalian hair fibres is a relatively recent discovery, and their mode of attachment, location in the fibre, origin and function are not well characterised. The fundamental aim of this study was to characterise the nature and chemical mode of attachment of the bound fatty acids found in mammalian hair fibres.
