    COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on healthcare systems, the economy, and communities around the world since it was declared a pandemic exactly one year ago on 11 March 2020. Now, one year later, the global fight against COVID-19 has entered a critical and decisive phase — the race to vaccinate the world population. This series of blogs attempts to analyse how this worldwide vaccination campaign is faring across regions and geographies, the challenges faced in its implementation, and the problems of accessibility and affordability for those countries with limited resources.

    With official relations at a new low, it is easy to be pessimistic about Australia-China relations. But there are many actors involved in Australia-China diplomacy. These connections can help provide communication channels for when official relations are frosty. They also bring economic, educational and cultural benefits.
