    Managing large farm businesses : y Jonathan W. Jenkin

    Case studies were used to analyse the organisation and management of several large farm businesses. In particular, the focus was on identifying how management of the large farm businesses studies in practice related to the relevant theoretical tenets about managing businesses. The practical advantages and disadvantages of large farm business operation were also analysed. It was found that theoretical concepts often match the practical management of large farm businesses with them often used in a strategic form. Many advantages were also found in the operation of large size businesses compared to there smaller counterparts, but along with these often came associated disadvantages.
