Description
Abstract
A simple and highly-sensitive $(-67\ {\rm dBm})$ fault monitoring and localization scheme is achieved without modifications to the ONU, by utilizing a low bandwidth $(\sim 2{\rm kHz})$ and low power $(\sim- 7\ {\rm dBm})$ fault monitor and the high reflectivity mirror of VCSEL transmitters.
