Description
JPEG file uploaded by the Theatre and Dance Platform of costumes for the 2019 performance of Make Your Own World at Dance Massive, Arts House, North Melbourne Town Hall.
Abstract
Photograph of costume worn by dancer Alisatair Macindoe for Make Your Own World at Arts House, North Melbourne Town Hall. In Make Your Own World improvisations erupt from learned dance steps and memorised patterns like dissident voices, insisting on autonomy, transformation and a new way forward. It’s a fragile world, where there is the possibility of beautiful systems and organic freedoms, but where gaps and chasms are sometimes unbridgeable.
